Hi Neonauts,
As a first note Neon EVM turned 4, we’re now an impatient toddler to deliver more and more to our partners and community 🎂 🥳. Aside from that important milestone for Neon EVM, we continued our journey to a Solana-native approach, so here's a quick rundown of what the team has been working on over the past month, including technical developments, community highlights, and more.

Our Dev Team was busy this month:
- Updated documentation for the Transfer SDK and Solana Signer SDKv1
- Created a demonstration for the Solana Signature SDK v1
- Continued the infrastructure migration to RocksDB.
- Resolved a known block. Timestamp issue, ensuring better accuracy.
- Diagnosed the root cause of transaction issues with Vibr and are currently assessing a fix.
- Conducted a code review for the new ERC20ForSPL contract and implemented fixes.
- Devnet Updates: Pushed out a Devnet update, focusing on bug fixes. This included resolving a problem with block timestamps, and a fix for an issue where ERC20 tokens were incorrectly creating extra accounts on Solana. They also corrected a bug related to scheduled transactions using Solana signatures.
- Mainnet Preparation: The team has finalised preparations for a Mainnet update, which happened last Tuesday, the 25th of February.
Our TBA Team was deep in the trenches, writing the White Paper on Composability—exciting insights coming soon!
Our Integration Team was around:
- Solidity Testing: testing new use cases (Orca and Raydium), specifically focusing on enabling the creation of liquidity pools on Solana from EVM protocols
- Researching Composability v2, pushing the boundaries of interoperability.
- Assisting with key demos to enhance user and dev experience.
- Modifying the ERC20ForSPL contract.

Product: Enhanced Onboarding
- Developer Onboarding: The product team has started work on improving the developer onboarding process, aiming to make it easier for new developers to get started with Neon EVM.
