We are delighted to share that the $NEON token, which powers the Neon EVM ecosystem, has been listed on the Revolut neobank platform.
The $NEON token was selected by the Revolut team to join an exclusive selection of less than 300 crypto tokens. This way, $NEON is available to 60 million retail customers in multiple countries.
$NEON is the utility token for the Neon EVM, used to pay for gas - the Neon Proxy Operator accepts payment from the user in $NEON tokens to pay the gas fees required for transaction execution.
The token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, and a large portion of the token treasury is allocated for ecosystem growth and development through various activities like developer grants for example, in line with Neon EVM’s goal of empowering a vibrant network of developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts.
